John J. Hillis, -- (and his wife, Indiana Stoner) , are both native born Putnam County citizens, the former being born in 1834 (4 Oct) and the latter in 1840 (23 Sept). Note: She died 16 Oct 1922 in Greencastle and he 12 Jan 1917 both buried in Forest Hill.

George B. Hillis of Greencastle tp, was born in 1828 (6 April died 2 Feb 1899 – buried Brick Chapel) and Mrs. Mary J. Finley of Bainbridge in 1832 (12 Sept – died 15 Dec 1900 in Bainbridge – buried Brick Chapel)

Mrs. Logan Foxworthy of Greencastle was born in 1836 (Sarah Elizabeth Hill actually born 9 April 1837 – died 13 Feb 1903 buried Forest Hill).

JD Frakes was born July 8, 1832 near Brick Chapel this county.  Was a democrat until 1892 when he became a covert to republicanism.  This is Joseph D. died 10 August 1901 (no tombstone that I see in Putnam County)
